Paramedics Find Baby Alive In A Trash Can After Mom Abandoned Her

It’s incredible the things people would do. There was an abandoned newborn baby found in a Pennsylvania gas station.

A woman in her twenties was traveling with her family when she started feeling ill. She asked them if they could stop at the gas station.

Her being sick was because she was going into early labor. She went into the bathroom and delivered a baby girl. Right after the woman put the baby in the trash and left.

The owner called the paramedics when he noticed the woman was bleeding. Once they got there the woman told them that she had a miscarriage. That’s when they went to go check the bathroom and found the baby, alive, in the trashcan.

Valerie hamer, the owner of the restaurant across the street, had a few words to say about the situation. “It’s awful,” Valerie said. “She could have given that baby up for adoption, or there’s so many other ways than to dispose of it in a garbage can. Thank goodness [she’s] alive.”

Safe haven laws protect a mother in crisis. This doesn’t apply in this case because for safe haven laws, babies are placed in a safe environment. They are placed in climate controlled boxes, once placed there it alerts authorities so they can come to the baby’s aide.

In this situation, this case is being looked over by the District Attorney’s office to see if the woman is going to be charged for what she did.

I share this verse for you guys:

“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies.” Psalms 27:10-11
